A while back one of our photographers Mats Alfredsson banded together with a few carefully chosen partners, and founded and organized the very first ever edition of Gothenburg Street Photo Festival. The event took place in a rough and secluded part of the port of Gothenburg; a venue befitting the raw nature of street, as well as man. It was dark. Men cried, women laughed. The event also sported a contest between photographers from all over the world. Between 500 and 1000 images were submitted for each category – and some of the nominees and winners are here with SPART today.
